• Artana hosted an ICA Membership Drive Reception at the gallery. Over 20 Artana clients joined the new ICA as higher-level members. (April 2006)

Institute of Contemporary Art, Panelist “New Art for the New Collector”

• Heather Roy of Artana was invited to present her point of view on beginning a collection of contemporary art for under $1,000. Panelist peers included artists Deborah Barlow and Brett Wallace, ICA curator Bennett Simpson, and collector Jonathan Seelig. (2005)

DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, Annual Juried Member’s Show, Co-Judge

• Co-Judged the spring show “Things”, a show comprising of fine art and high craft mediums including paintings, sculpture, jewelry, glass and pottery. (2005)

• As a gallerist and avid art collector, Roy shared with Artana's followers and​ Museum members a guided, interactive tour of two concurrent juried exhibitions.
